22 January 2024: At the 2022 TCHVA Reunion in Washington DC, it was decided that all incumbent officers would remain in place for 2 years given plans for the special reunion to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of USS THOMAS C HART commissioning in 2023, unless the position was vacant or an officer stepped down. At the 2023 TCHVA Special Reunion we had some new Officers elected due to those vacancies. Also, as a result of the untimely passing of our Secretary (and TCHVA founder and first President) Garry Collins, our current Board is comprised of:
Chairman: Phil Leblanc
President: Steve Holliday
Vice President: Bill Tylock (with Dan Vasconcellos agreeing to support as VP Admin Assistant)
Secretary (interim): Mark Lamboni
Treasurer: Dennis Paul
Chaplain: Mike Garcia
Ship ‘s Store: John Ebata
Newsletter: Dave Neimeyer
Historian: Ron Church
Webmasters: Todd Black, Mark Lamboni
The TCHVA membership thanks these shipmates for carrying out those duties and responsibilities to keep our association functioning and running smoothly. Many have held various or even incumbent positions for years and would like to invite other members to get involved and help spread the wealth of talent and responsibilities. So please consider stepping up for one of these offices at the 2025 Reunion.
